The curvy sandstone, expansive desert scenery and otherworldly colors make Valley of Fire, a state park near Las Vegas, feel like another planet.
As it was a second wedding for this couple, they didn’t want a large ceremony and opted to elope. They wanted to celebrate each other’s love together outside surrounded by the desert scenery. They are also both spontaneous people and planning a wedding just didn’t seem like something they could fit into their schedule.
Both Shaun and Jamie love being outside exploring and love natural venues. They were even engaged at the gorgeous Moraine Lake in Canada’s Banff National Park. But Nevada and the southwest are some of Jamie’s favorite places so it seemed ideal to have their wedding there.
Jamie wore a gorgeous vintage ivory lace dress with a boho vibe. She picked the dress not only for its looks, but also because it was comfortable and could roll up in her suitcase without creasing during her travel from Atlanta.
They chose to see each other before the ceremony, with a first look and reveal at their hotel. They loved just getting to spend time with friends and family surrounded by the beauty of nature on their big day.
